Alicia Amaral

Alicia is adept at finding creative and practical solutions to fit the unique needs of her clients. She uses her extensive experience as a CFO, controller, auditor, and educator to help her clients with tactical accounting tasks, without losing focus on the big picture. Her priority is to help her clients use their financial data to make sound decisions for prosperity and growth. Throughout her career, she has been involved in numerous M&A and IPO transactions from the perspective as an auditor as well as a financial executive.

Alicia is an instructor at Tufts University where she has taught Accounting & Finance since 2009. She was a director for the global accounting firm BDO, chief financial officer for Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group, controller for the engineering firm Haley & Aldrich, managing director of Scalar Analytics, and a senior auditor for the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen.

Alicia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Furman University and a Master of Science in Accountancy degree from Bentley University. She is a licensed CPA and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
